I was excited to learn that Seal Beach and Rossmoor have a One Book social network on ning. Although its focus is narrowly fixed on one community, it aims for higher ground by bringing literary works to a town, and thus, bringing people together who shop, work and reside in the same area. Del Clark Three Cups of Tea

Putting a human face on those from different cultures, sects, and religions gives the reader an opportunity to expand his/her outlook of the world and realize that although different, most individuals want the same things--a peaceful environment, secure homes, nutrition, freedom of beliefs, education for their children and a sense of dignity.
